Berkey Imperial Water filter
The Berkey Imperial Water Filter, like the other water filters from Berkey, comes standard with 2 Black Berkey filters. Even with "only" 2 Black filters, the Imperial's speed is higher than with the Royal or Big berkey.
Because the water reservoir is larger, the water flows at a higher speed to the 17 liter clean water reservoir.
Do you live together with a group of people, for example? Then the Imperial is ideal for daily use. We recommend the Imperial for families or groups between 4 and 8 people.
Berkey water filters quality
All Berkey water filters filter 99.9999% of all impurities in the water. Whether you get water from the ditch on an industrial train or from the stream that runs past your house.

Drinking water during a disaster
During a disaster or emergency situation, the Imperial Berkey can use 6 filters (2 standard included) between 200-400 people daily with their drinking water.
This makes the water purification system extremely suitable as drinking water back up for small villages or self-sufficient communities.

In the lower chamber the water filter offers room for 6 additional Fluoride filters. Special PF-2 filters can be placed here. The number of Fluoride filters must always be equal to the number of black Berkey water filters in order to be able to properly clear the Fluoride from the water.
